The head can turn all the way 360 degrees, just be careful in doing so, you might break some fragile parts like the v-fin (like i did).

Armaments and Accessories

In terms of armaments, the twin buster rifle, you can use it either together or separately. 2  beam sabers and 2 vulcan guns that opens up on the top of its shoulders.

Vulcans
I consider the 4 angelic wings as accessories, they were great and very detailed. It also has 8 rubber feathers to be attach on the wings for much detailed effects and poseability.

Some extras are also included on this kit, 2 additional manipulators (3 finger split), and a base stand that can go forward or up right position.

Pose-ability

I HATE ANTS!!!

BOOM!!!
Well...you have tons of choices to pose this kit on your shelf, display case, etc. But pulling it off is a different story. I'm not saying it can't, it can definitely do it but its hard (for me, atleast). You need to position it properly for it to stay the way you wanted it specially in flying positions.

Seals and Stickers

used up seals and foil stickers

a standard set of seals for master grade will be given to you for this kit. Foil stickers, clear stickers and some dry transfer decals.

The Build

i had fun building this kit, its totally unique in some ways, and i'd never expect bulky parts for the wings considering its only on a regular size MG box. And I'm a big fan of the wing series that's why i enjoy this so much

and now the Cons...

the back side

Wing Zero's greatest strength is also its greatest weakness. Its HUMONGOUS ANGELIC WINGS, with that size you are bound to have weight issues with your kit. Regardless with or without an action base. it will give you problems. Not all 4 of them actually only the wings at the front, they can barely hold up. They will always fall down because of gravity...yeah gravity's a b!tch.

little solution

One little thing i did to stop this from happening again, a place a good amount of masking tape around the peg on the backpack that holds the wings and it works fine ever since. Another weight issue you may encounter is the twin buster rifle, both hands can't hold the rifles together and if it does, it looks a little awkward. There are no problems with them separately.

Final Thoughts...

I enjoy building this kit, well let's face it I'm a Wing fan , and overall looks are really really awesome. If those weight issue didn't exist or atleast minimal, this kit would be perfect.

Is it good value for money?...well yes if you're a fan of the wing series and you're just going to display it with regular standing poses. For 3,800 yen its good enough but i think Bandai can still do better (articulation wise), a Version 2.0 i hope ^_^

Does it capture the power of the anime?...it really does, it captures almost ever details of the wing zero in the Endless Waltz OVA.

Would you recommend this kit?...Absolutely Yes, regardless of its weight issues, it is still a great kit and will be a good addition to your collection. And mind you this is an old kit, released last 2004 so it's a little forgiving. For wing fans like myself you really need to buy this.

note: the kit was panel lined and top coated and no other paints are applied
