Customs - RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 "Hades"

Heres my futile attempt to modify my HGUC 1/144 Gundam Unicorn Banshee Destroy mode. Its actually my contest entry for Gundam Philippines Christmas Party last December 21, 2012. If I only have more time to finish this properly It would turn out a little better(I guess). I only made this in 10days, its not that bad but not that great either...o well its my first full mod on a kit.

as you see I don't use/have Airbrush so this was the only way

prime it with Bosny Flat Black

looks brownish but its Bosny Signal Red Base coat

Demon shield
Trying out how they look first before gluing them together...got some ideas before, some looks cool, wicked and insanely weird. I actually got the idea by accident, I have no intention of using the shield but after cutting those parts a place them elsewhere but after looking at them again it gave me a good demonic looking shield(picture below). I'm making a god of the underworld anyway so why not ehehe.

 After the signal red base coat I just painted again with Tamiya's Smoke(clear black) to have a reddish black finish that I wanted. Heres a little photo of what it end up looking.

about 70% finish...after 3 coats of tamiya smoke still not enough 

even luffy can't help me finish this in 10days properly X_X

Though it may not be perfect I'm still proud of what it has become, this is my very first full mod on a kit and i love it looks. I just wish I had more time before.

Cerberus Fangs...argh!!

those chain are supposed to have longer fangs and sharper but drop them while taking photos T_T

A little Food of thought from a lazy modeler ^_^ ....never mod any kit in a hurry if you plan to join any contest try to plan it carefully and give yourself ample amount of time so you can do it properly and fix errors you might have.

The kit was customized to my own preference (kit bash, pla plating, custom paint, etc).
